The Pilgrim Chamber Players
The Pilgrim Chamber Players, an ensemble of professional musicians, is now in its ninth year at the Highland Park Community House where we present a four-concert chamber music series. Our core members, Lisa Argiris, clarinet; Carol Honigberg, piano; Anita Rieder, flute, and Donald Draganski, composer-in-residence, present innovative concerts that offer an exciting blend of new music and old favorites.

The Pilgrim Chamber Players have presented concerts live on WFMT radio, and at various venues including Northeastern Illinois University’s Jewel Box Series, Roosevelt University, Columbia College Chicago, Lewis University in Romeoville, the Chicago Cultural Center, the Unity Temple Series in Oak Park and others. The Pilgrim Chamber Players won the 2004 Professional Chamber Music Competition sponsored by the National Flute Association with their performance of Don Draganski's Trio from Rio for Flute, Clarinet & Piano, a selection on The Pilgrim Chamber Players' CD, Chamber Music by Donald Draganski for Winds and Piano on Albany Records.

The Pilgrim Chamber Players' 2009 season held at the Highland Park Community House will be announced soon. All performances will be at 3:00PM.
